Serenity Prayer

Just spoke with our case specialist and still no response from Ethiopia about having Bedilu transferred to Addis. Our specialist doesn't expect it to be a quick or easy thing, as it's complicated and involves approval by the Ethiopian govt, but it's been submitted as an URGENT request.
So, to get through these days I just keep repeating:

God grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change;
Courage to change the things I can;
And the wisdom to know the difference.

Oh, you guys! You exemplify fortitude. Thinking of you so much this weekend. Thank you for writing with such candor and explaining so many parts of this experience in layman's terms. Love, The Reibels

Argh. Must all good deeds be punished? What a shame and what a hassle. I wish you just go over there and get some things straightened out, bring some formula, etc. Hell, I wish I could go. Fk!

Well I am absolutely certain you guys are doing what you can and should be doing. The serenity prayer is working. So keep it up, keep the faith, keep an open mind and open eyes, and whatever happens, know that you have done brilliantly under very difficult circumstances. Love ya. ~Rick
